Mr. Anand Kumar no longer needs an
introduction. After getting an invitation from THE prestigious Massachusetts
institute of technology (MIT) and Harvard University, this man from Patna
(Bihar) and having a humble background is now, a global personality. He has a
long list of awards and recognitions behind him and some of those feats are
really extraordinary. Super 30, his institute became a boon
for talented & underprivileged children, and helped them get into IIT’s,
that too free of cost. During 2003-2014, 308
students out of 360 had made it to the IITs.
Discovery channel broadcasted a special 1 hour program
on Super 30. "Time" Magazine recognized Super 30 in the Best of
Asia - 2010. He has delivered lectures in Indian Institute of Management
studies, Ahmedabad, Stanford University, Tokyo University, University of
British Columbia apart from being selected as “One of the global
personalities who have the ability to shape exceptionally talented people” by
Europe's Magazine named Focus. A Limca book of world records holder,
"Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar" - The highest award for a
teacher by Bihar Government & S. Ramanujam award winner by IRDS are amongst
many others. He stands tall as an epitome of ideal educator who changed the
lives of many underprivileged children.
It’s important to mention Mr.
Anand Kumar on our blog, as people like him become the source of inspiration
for many. Questeach will be a platform for those who have the zeal, enthusiasm,
vision and most importantly a strong will to take initiative and start
educating the society. Who knows that you might have another Anand Kumar inside
you, as our society also in dire need of more people like him.
